my theory on why xbox 360 sales have dipped: 1) its old news, ps3 and wii are now. 2) no matter how many platformer's, rpg's, adventure games, etc. microsoft brings out, it will always be for the halo3 and gears of war ppl. thats the only reason why i have one, btw.
interstingly enough ps3 outsells it with: "no games", a "$700" price tag. and to top that all, look at how much bad (initial) criticism it recieved from websites, the "how to kill a brand song", all this bad stuff was brought up about the ps3.
still we see ps3 sales ahead most times. (and the gap can only get wider in weekly sales.)

360 games will also be publish on PC.
If you own a PC you will not buy 360 games since it will be on both and PCs can do the same as the 360.

That argument is definitely tiresome. You're not taking into account that most people do not own a PC with amazing graphics chip. Hell, I have a PC with integrated Radeon card that can barely run Everquest. Only true game addicts will think of buying a PC game such as Halo 3 that can be used on their PCs.

Look at the freaking top selling PC games of all time:
The Sims (50 million,[184] 70 million including expansions)[184]

The Sims 2 (13 million)[186]

* The Sims 2: Seasons [expansion pack] (1 million)[187]

StarCraft (9.5 million, may include StarCraft: Brood War)[190]

All of these don't need graphic cards that is in the same level as the 360 chip. Out of the top 20 games on PC, only 2 are on Xbox brand consoles and that's Half-Lfe. And that title came out first on PC then it was porter WAY later to consoles. See how stupid that argument of "oh, if a 360 game is coming to PC, people aren't gonna buy it cuz it will be available on PC." This assumption is extremely flawed and both main demographic markets for PC and 360 are quite different. I guarantee you that the majority of Xbox 360 owners have a PC that they only use for internet browsing and use for social networks or Youtube. Outside of that, you, the minority that has a gaming capable PC, will have this attitude of buying a game for PC instead of 360.

Now let's look

I just have one question. The same people that stand and say Sony got arrogent because of last gens amrketshare, seem to be the same people Who claim Sony is doing poorly because they lost Marketshare. Now I agree Sony was arrogant, but the reason I believe that is because there is no guartentee on marketshare from Gen to Gen. So from that deduation you really can't say they lost marketshareSony did not start this gen with 120 million ps3 owners and then had people switch., they started at 0 like everyone else. The question is how can you people make this assertion with a straight face. Sony sold 100 mil 2 gens ago, they sold 120 and counting last gen. they will probably sell 50 plus this gen. Next gen? Hell who knows they could turn around and sell a 170 mil, or sell 15 mil. There are no guarentess and therefore you can't loose something you don't have, and last I knew the PS2 was nearing 130 mil and counting. Those numbers havent magically disappeared just because the PS3 was released.

I agree with the writer, The main Idea is that 360 is loosing grounds, and fast. While the PS3 is gaining on it. I say that the writer is trying to give the bad side more because he is trying to prove a point that Microsoft needs to act fast to gain share in the int'l market.

Thats all what the writer is interested in. He knows it had more exclusives and may be better (I am not underestimating nor overestimating the quality of the games), but he didn't bring it up because its not related to his mission behind this article.

If he said that it had great exclusives that will help MS then whats the point of the article?

Ps3 passed x360 in others and America. Don´t believe it won´t pass in Japan either. Back to normality.
