Forums - Nintendo - Where are the other franchizes?

Nintendo could be working on all of those games and we wouldn't know until three months before release.

Jo21, they aren't working on your friggin clock. They can finish their stuff when they get done.

Excellentbeing, sadly, I don't know of many Nintendo franchises considering the Wii is the 1st Nintendo console I bought and 2nd I played. (with 1st being the nes.) I don't know of pikmin either. But, I'm sure many mega hits will hit in 2009.

Yeah, I'm not sure if Nintendo's marketing strategy is working very well. Then again, it doesn't really need to, does it?

You can seriously expect more games from Nintendo than ever. This is the best generation for them and they would have to be retarded to not bomb us with every game they can think of.

I expect them to leave the "casuals" to be handled by 3rd party developers mostly (as this games are cheapest and easiest to develop and companies like EA or Ubisoft will do very good) so they will be able to focus more on the "hardcore" games from now on.

2007 and 2008 were struggling years for the market share with quick turns and changes like releasing new peripherals, SKU's etc. The race is almost over now and every company involved in it knows its place. All it's left now mostly is to develop great games.

Patience young one, soon the games will come and all will be well.

Nintendo is releasing their games very fast this generation. MOst of the Franchises are out F-Zero and others like Pikmin will surely follow is just a matter of time. I still have to buy Metroid Prime 3 but i dont have time to play that incredible game
