Forums - Microsoft - Too Human a flop?

Silicon knights been working on Too human for a long time and game informer gave it a 6.75 and game informer usually grades above the Average game score so i want to hear your opinions.

I think it will be a flop, but GI also gave Elite Beat Agents a 6.75, which is blasphemy, so that doesn't speak a lot for their opinions, and it certainly runs counter to your theory that they usually score above the average.

I don't need your console war.
It feeds the rich while it buries the poor.
You're power hungry, spinnin' stories, and bein' graphics whores.
I don't need your console war.

NO NO, NO NO NO.

Wait until everyone else starts putting reviews out before you make up your mind.

Game Informer released a review way before anyone else (even better if it has an interesting score) so that people would hear about the review, goto their site, and give then advertising money.

I'll still buy Too Human even if all the reviews are bad because I had fun with the demo.  One things I've realized is that these scores are just opinions and my tastes dont always match that of the reviewers.  There are games that scored a 6 that I loved to death and games that got close to a 10 that I cant stand.

...Dont know.
I dont know enything about this game that there is some gods and that its been 10 years late.
Yea.
Sounds like flop to me.

Trusting Game Informer gives this thread zero credibility.

I don't think it'll be a AAA game, but I don't think it'll hit Lair bad. Maybe around Heavenly Sword level, but because it is silicon Knights it'll probably be better then that.

I don't mean to offend anyone with comparisons to PS3 games, but Nintendo and Microsoft hasn't seen any high profile releases that have backfired as badly as those 2 did.

As I have stated .... 4 months ago.

But, plz, stop creating such thread, plz.

Just wait and see if the game is good or bad (if I m wrong or not)

Time to Work !

I don't think this game will be getting too many rave reviews - it's not following the trend of astronomically hyped 'core' games that start with a website or magazine tossing out 10's and 9's weeks in advance leading up to launch.

If the first score is this low, I think it's an omen.

Agreed

@Claude

The first score was a 93 ;)

Game Informer's score was second.

Pre-orders are supposedly in the 1 million territory currently. That's a pretty fair indicator that the game should be a commercial hit.

Anyone who's played the demo should have their own opinion whether the game should be good or bad. There's no better "review" than a good demo after all.

http://xboxoz360gamer.com/2008/08/03/too-human-rumour-report-shows-1-million-preorders/

“According to sales reports from Gamestop, EB Games, and Microsoft Co., there were an estimated 1.4 million preorders placed in the contiguous U.S. during the one-year period leading up to E3, 2008. After the release of the game’s demo a reported 370,000 additional games were preordered, in addition to 495,000 cancellations.

During the E3 conferences and in the week after, a mere 45,000 preorders were cancelled while 350,000 more were made. There were only a reported 8,000 cancellations during the year prior to the demo’s release.”
