I also find Hayter's voice acting to be a little weak.
But then I remember that Solid Snake is somewhat based on Snake Pliskin in Escape from New York, and the B-list quality acting suddenly becomes perfect.

Yeah, what point is there in expressing impressions and opinions of a game on a video game message board? I didn't even realize what a thoughtless prick I was being by doing so. I'll go start another "SONY SAYS LBP WILL BE SYSTEM SELLER!!!" thread to compensate.

If it is a PS3 exclusive, you're not going to get anywhere by logically explaining why you don't like it. PS3 fanboys have a fierce blind loyalty to any exclusive that comes out for their system of choice. It's funny that you mention LBP, because I don't think the interest in this game would be NEARLY as high if it was multi platform. People are just blowing their load over it because of the bragging rights of an exclusive coming out. I have not personally played MGS4, but I do know that a "game" with that many cut scenes would annoy the piss out of me. I often do a good chunk of my gaming late at night when everyone else in the house has gone to bed (and when I SHOULD be going to bed) therefore, that many cut scenes would probably put me to sleep.

Have you seen LittleBigPlanet? It just looks amazing, and nearly every gamer accepts that. I think even Reggie likes it, didn't he say he thought it would be better on a ninendo console. Also, Metal Gear Solid 4 is frankly an amazing game, though it may be too cut-scene heavy for many. Also, dont judge a game before you have played it, and the first half of the game it not that cut-scene heavy
best game ive played this gen, well one of them anyways.
ive just finished act 3, act 3 was ace it looks awsome and plays awsome.
my jaws dropped at the cut scene at the end of act 3, its kinda unbelievable that, that is game engine grafix its just to good to be true.

The general consensus among people who like the game AND people who don't like the game is that there are a lot of cut scenes and some of them are LOOOOOOOONG. Therefore, I most certainly will make a judgement to not buy the game or recommend it to anyone who likes watching zillion hour long movies with ridiculous dialogue and story lines.
