Well, they should buy exclusivity, there's nothing wrong with it, this is business not a moral competition or something

Yes it is about making money and so far Microsoft has failed to do that. There is no use buying exclusivs if you don't make any money on it.

They gived Square a whole big building to develop their games (FFVII).

ur right robjoh.....microsoft spent money to back up mistwalker the creators of blue dragon.....and look in japan the game was a total flop.... As stated:

Yeah I really don't believe them, perhaps this was true after selling a 100 million units, or even 50 million, when your the king and don't need to go out of your way. But right now it's hussle time. And honestly people bad mouth M$ but honestly how cool is it to own a system where the maker is dumping money on developers to bring you the most exclusive content. You can argue it's value to them, but either way it shows their determination. And I don't consider it bribing, they are paying money for a product, that's not illegal. Just like it's not illegal for them to buy studio after studio, I mean honestly Nintendo is probably the only company that has really added to the game world by schooling and educating programmers.

 Yes i was refering to the PS3's current lineup, while i do believe that the same could be said about the PS2 in some cases (as with all systems), the PS2 had enough amazing titles so that i wouldn't say that about its entire library.

What good 3rd party games does the 360 have that the PS3 doesn't??

I agree with Jack that no company should buy exclusives. But right now that is what is happening with MS so Sony will either have to get in on that game or risk seeing few exclusives.

And right now Sony can't afford to 'earn' exclusivity. Not with weekly sales and LTD Sales being in last place.

Sony is still rooted in the thinking they had with the PS2 where the sheer number of consoles they had sold 'earned' them exclusives. They can't wait for that this generation.
