I still think it's a fad.
Even if it sells 10 million a week there is no games on it I want to play.

True for me as well.

However, the mainstream has embraced it so its here to stay. I don't think anyone without alzheimer's has forgotten the "fad" claims so this topic is somewhat pointless.

Or perhaps the number of games some gamers don't want to play has nothing to do with whether it is a fad or not.

Every five years or so there is a fad. It's called a console generation.

My rulke of thumb is: If making a thread, use the search button. If that does not help, think very hard. Would a likewise topic have been made?

That's why I didn't go "what is you're best game ever" on a game forum for my first thread...

Still anyway, I can see why you would like to see a discussion or at least talk about the fad status but since it's more of a running joke now I doubt people have much enthousiasm left to talk about the fad status of the wii...
