Why is that sad?  I think it's great that Microsoft is working hard to get JRPG on their console.   I wish Sony would do the same instead of resting on the fact that they were king last gen and they don't have to do anything this gen to get games.

Sad from Sony, as well. But Sony has lots of interesting titles that the box doesn't... the only advantage of the box are these RPG's. It's sad for me because I have to get another HD console now, for which I have no use other than RPG games... unlike the PS3 which provides me with a lot of stuff.

PS3, WII and 360 all great systems depends on what type of console player you are.

Currently playing Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2, Fallout 3, Halo ODST and Dragon Age Origins is next game

My 360 exclusive starter pack would be:

Gears of War
Halo 3
Mass Effect
Lost Odyssey
BioShock
Braid
Geometry Wars 2

There are many others but this is what I would recommend to get a very meaty 360 exclusive experience right from the get go.

By end 2008, the future starter pack would probably include:

Tales of Vesperia
Infinite Undiscovery
Gears of War 2
Fable 2
Left 4 Dead
Castle Crashers

My personal top 10 of my 360 library are:

Gears of War
Rock Band
BioShock
Portal
Braid
GTA4
Lost Odyssey
Mass Effect
Geometry Wars 2
Blue Dragon

Wow. ok. well if you want game reccomendations I'm not sure of all the genres you like (I know you like JRPG's)

I like all genres so heres what I'd get first in each.

RPG's:

Lost Odyssey
Tales Of Vesperia
Mass Effect
Oblivion
Eternal Sonata
Blue Dragon
Fable 2 (October)
Infinite Undiscovery (September I think)
The Last Remnant (December I think)
FPS:

Halo 3
Bioshock
COD4

Action:

Gears Of War
Too Human
Ninja Gaiden 2

And other genres are up to you. But these are the genres I think you may play.
Also get DEAD RISING. And if you like racers pick up FORZA 2 before F3 comes next year.

20 gigs are sold out in my area. (Edit: Anectdotal, I know) (Edit2: and on EBgames.com)
