Is this the first time 360 has sold more than PS3 in Japan in a week, if not when?

no, I believe Ace Combat did it for a week for 360

But what is more important here is just by how much it outsold the PS3 in both hardware and software this time...

I find it more shocking that PS3 is below 10k again.

this week japan is the difference, maybe there will be adjustments but 360 outsold PS3 WW by 14k, which is the same as the difference in sales in Japan.

PS3 - 10k

Lol, the PS3 is in so much damn trouble, its not even funny anymore. I'm beginning to wonder if I'll ever (have to) buy one tbh. If things keep at it this way with all the software going to unsound hardware, the cheapest platform filled to the brim with feces and the most tech friendly platform has nothing to offer I'll remain a PC gamer throughout this gen I think.
The fun is gone for me when it comes to consoles, I'll miss it but I'll survive...

Good comeback for the 360 in japan - had to get the upper edge one day - now if they can sway europe a little more it will be 360>Ps3 for a few weeks more.

Anyways i like to see this an hope mabey the sony guys will be forced to bring out some decent games at last , or open up the platform a bit more like xbox games marketplace since the current PS3 developers are clueless mabey some ametures can lead the way.
I cant believe i payd 1000 for a room convection heater and Blu-ray player combination unit. Wish i had a Wii instead it's only platform with good motion controlled games.

and people are worried about a couple of weeks.
Look at the hardware sales since launch. If x360 and ps3 were lanched at the same time, ps3 would be ahead by 3 million units. Don´t worry, ps3 will beat x360. Not so sure about wii, but then wii is not a definitive console. people will start buying x360 or ps3 to go along with their wii, just wait, or you think some of the 30 million wii owners can go by without games like gta4 or gow3 or even gt5. And I didn´t even touch the sports subject. Please, apart from tennis and golf and maybe baseball, you can even think about playing this genre in a wii. So people will get tired of wii and get another console. When they have friends or family at home, wii is very welcome, but when alone and willing to have a serious game experience, you´ll get a x360 or ps3( in my opinion a ps3, but taht´s me).
