That confidence from the Sony Defense Forces is looking a little shaky this week. Who would have thought that Japan would decide this weeks winner. Hell who would have thought Japan would have decided a weekly winner in favor of the 360. This makes four confirmed weeks of Microsoft taking the prize over Sony.

Tales of Vesperia proves one thing to me. That JRPGs can move the 360 in Japan. Will the sales falter next week. Well it is possible then again Infinite Undiscovery is less then a month away. So the 360 should probably level off higher. Given the position of the PS3 the 360 may very well beat the PS3 next week in Japan as well.

Eternal Sonata comes out on the 18th, I believe.  That will help a little bit.

Eternal Sonata won't help move Playstation 3 hardware. Even if it sells well (it won't), I don't see how ES could move hardware....Disagea 3, nor Valkyrie of the Battlefield helped the PS3 hardware very much...Why would a port of a 1 year old game?

Having said that, I think ES will do well on the PS3, and sell 30k-45k first week.

No I had not seen the data thank you for pointing it out to me. Unfortunately it is very depressing news, because it basically proves that the data on this site is completely worthless. Those are unacceptably large margins. I wonder what Ioi is going to do about this. The hardware used to be somewhat reliable data. Now it appears that none of the data is any good at all.

What are those dev's thinking... they should know that they could have pushed more HW and SW if the game was on ps3... Oh well..... Good week for the box.
