Vgchartz should just come out and admit the mistake. There was no week with 360 outselling the PS3 in the US during July, go figure on a worldwide basis LOL

Yeah, I remember Source saying that.  But where are those numbers?  And why did all the blogs credit NPD with those predictions anyway?

This makes me laugh so hard. That means the numbers posted on the main page are totally off.

5-2 for PS3 this year vs. 360 in NPD sales.

According to NPD PS3 has gained ~300k units on 360 in america in the first seven months of this year.

stop trolling, the numbers are fine (+/- 10% for all consoles)

Admit what mistake!? VGChartz is an independent sales tracking site, and although NPD has more resources when it comes to tracking sales, they could be just as off and we wouldn't ever know. VGChartz isn't here to simply parrot NPD.

Asking VGChartz to admit to a "mistake", is like saying Famitsu should admit it made a mistake each time its numbers aren't  in tandem with Media Create.

Did you just forget that the 360 existed?

 It could do that, or the NPD Group could do the same. It is as likely that the NPD Group is as incorrect as you say VGChartz is. Personally, I am more inclined to believe VGChartz's numbers.
