I think whoever the person was who said there was a PS3 shortage needs to come out now and say "Sorry my bad i got it wrong" like a man rather then a mouse who goes around banning people who questioned wether he was right or not (which he did apparently), i mean this is 2008 not 1938....
Well done to the PS3 i think that is very good and well 360 not sure what to say, maybe next month :)
VGC SW figures as always in recent months are damn close to NPD which is amazing because we get those figures every week.

1) They still wouldn't do it. They just have a really bad PR Guy.
2) If they did do it they would probably get away with it. With no one to counteract what they would say.

So true, this is what matters here. What most people, developers and publishers are going to see is that the Wii once again beat them combined... with a nice representation in SW sales too, including a 170$ 3rd party game that was released late

Guessing from NPD numbers, it's more likely that PS3 outsold the 360 worldwide in July too.

Pretty much definite, unless the 360 had a boost in others for no reason, which is extremely unlikely.
