no one was more excited than me about the microsoft E3 announcement of FF13 on 360, cuz at the time my 360 was functional , but weeks later (as i mentioned many times b4 in different threads) i purchased a ps3 cuz my 360 crashed , (i plan on getting the 1.99 arcade next month )but not a week after the announcement did i realize that vs 13 was a ps3 exclusive !! so i know i was gonna hafe to purchase a ps3 inevitablely anyway .

my point is , will xbox 360 owners who  purchase ff 13 , eventualy buy a ps3 to get the other 1/3 of the series after exp/ing the game and feel the need to play the game in a different perspective which is final fantasy vs 13 !?! and perhaps complete it by getting a psp for agito??

sony might have the upper hand and not even realize it !!! or maybe it was square enix plan from the start!!??

whats the difference between ffxiii and ffxiii vs?

It is similar to Microsoft putting Blue Dragon and Viva Pinata on DS. Trying to expand the franchise, so that when BD2 and VP2 come out, more people will want to buy a 360.

Versus is a spinoff of FFXIII, but they have about the same budget, and seem to just be two different takes on the 13th final fantasy. Versus is being made by the KH team.Also versus is an Action-Rpg, but judging by the trailer for FFXIII that isn't too far off from being an Action RPg either.

But what if they end up not being exclusive? Or what if fans don't care as much about spin offs...

(Edit: I just wanted to add that I plan on buying a PS3 and getting it on PS3.  I don't think most people are willing to buy both consoles though.)

is was confirmed at dks3713 that it was exclusive ,  not anyone cares about spinoffs thats true but this anything but a spinoff neither sequel or prequel its a game of its own only that its set in the same world of ff 13

How many times was FFXIII confirmed as an exclusive? A lot can change in 15 years, or however long it takes Square-Enix to make a game these days.

This game is much more than a spinoff... hope it stays PS3-exclusive.
