think its worth getting on the ps3 given its past?

i dont have a 360 or i'd get it on that, to help practice for the big tourney :p

both versions are identicle now both recived the same scores, both run at 60fps now

The framerate is improved for this year. I still wont understand why people buy basically the same game year after year though...

 i havent bought since 2003 so i think its time for me to get a new one

besides people buy it for the updated roster mostly, since they wont just let you dl patches to update it.

I would have preferred to rent it on the PS3 instead, that way, I wouldn't have to pay for a roster update or play online.
Either way, by the looks of it, they are pretty much identical in terms of visuals/performance.

I dunno if there is a create a player on 360/ps3 veresions and if they had ea locker (stuff where u upload stuff), you could create ur own rosters

Superstar mode allows you to create a player and run through skills assesments to get your skills ranked.  You can also enter play as a real life rookie.

The game plays perfectly smooth at what looks like 60fps to me (but Im no fps / pixel counting zealot).  Last Madden I had was 2001 I think...I find this game to be very promising from what I've played of it so far.  Game play seems very good.
