I would say Ravenholm in Half Life 2 was the worst excuse for 2 hours of the game. That part was completely unecessary and should have been taken out. It bored the life out of me.

Anyways.

mine would be

5. Turok 2

First time using the Bore. at the time watching it drill into the brain then explode was definately disturbing.

4. FEAR

When the corridor turns to blood and you spin around to see that chinese girl walking towards you. Definately freaked me out. Even worse theres a part in the game where you climb a ladder and when you get to the top the girl is stood there looking at you. then you look again and shes gone.

3. Condemned

Just the entire game in general. Far worse than FEAR. In particular when you enter the empty pool and all of a sudden it's full and then you see the wierd creatures come at you then disappear back. That was seriously twisted.

2. Eternal Darkness

I to agree that this game is one big psychopathic trip. It's teisted at every turn

Hands down the most disturbing game moment for me was watching the little imp guy saw the blokes head off. I actually felt sick!

Definitely Eternal Darnkess.
Also, Quake 4, when you get caught by the cyborgs, that part is HORRIBLE, where they turn you into one of them. OMFG grossness.

Its graphics were great at the time and I still consider them great. Its funny how so many people complained about mgs4 cinematics like  no one ever played a xenosaga game. I love 'em both so I'm not complaining.

I agree with Pyramid Head and partly Ravenholm, but the rest seem somewhat un-frightening to me.
Anyone ever play "D" on PS or Saturn? Now that was scary shit!
