It looks like GTA IV is getting released October 30 in Japan, will be interesting to see how it does compared to past GTAs. For a western franchise it does pretty well in Japan.
Japan is such an unpredictable market mainly because the majority buyer is probably a core gamer unlike America and Europe/Other markets.

#25 for Soul Calibur IV on X360 would put sales between 8,000-10,000 units going by VGC numbers for the same positioning last week....Not too horrible. That's a 65% drop which is to be expected.

PsP was supply constrained this week, Sega shipped 500k and sell through is at 480-490k. Hope they ship more.
I wonder what Phantasy Star will end up at....Next to ToV sales in Japan, this is probably my most anticipated game to watch sales on.

Well, if it is dropping, I'd say a million.
If it's supply problems, I'd say 1.5 - 2 million based on legs.
The MH crowd must want something new to play.
