August must not be an important month because everybody is making changes that effects their sales. You got X360 with a 20 gig clearance sale but let leaked that a major price cut coming in Sept (yet to be confirmed or denied). You got Sony holding back 80 gig stock to get rid of old 40 gig stock, lowering its sales for the month. Nintendo problem is anyone's guess but I am guessing just gearing up a major holiday push.

It will be interesting to see what happens when all the changes are in place...



I'm just saying...

360 outsold the PS3 in Japan this week, so I still call a 360 win.

If the Wii is being stockpiled, it's not for Christmas, but possibly by retailers for the next big holidays coming up, Labor Day. A big shopping day, but known more for back-to-school shopping.

ps3 another 10k, 360 had a drop, wii 2nd week under 100k and ds always selling good. 360 will be ahead of ps3 this week also.

I think the PS3 will start sleeping with the Wii behind 360's back.

That's one game I think Sony should try to get timed exclusivity on.

 

 

 

Aside from that, I STILL don't get how you can increase the market share, when you sell less than the opposition (meaning that you lose ground no matter what).  Even with roundings this shouldn't make sense.
