Forums - Nintendo - My Okami Wii review, dont believe what reviewers says on sites and mags

Side Topic: I'm still early on in this game, and so far it doesn't touch Twilight Princess.

I prefer TP to Okami. Just my opinion however. TP is a very polished game althought not very fresh ( 120% OoT ).
Okami is more fresh and had quite a few good ideas like the drawing and the mix between Zelda formula and JRPG and the sense of adventure.

Okami is a niche game that only appeals to fans of that style of game. Good news Wii version of Okami has outsold the PS2 version.
Wii is expected to sell lots of games anyway.

I`ll still pass

Why? Do you want me to beat you in Mario Kart Wii for the rest of eternity?

EDIT: The third GP so totally doesn't count!!!

Of course it doesn't count.  I was disconnected.

Okami is a great game by the way.

Am i the only one who also has trouble with the infinity symbol....to invoke fire that is (I forgot the proper name)

Also, in Sei-en city, the little minigames with trying to get citizens to their destination through the leaflet on the water using galestorm....i think that is pretty annoying as well...

That's exactly how I'm feeling about Okami.  It's a much fresher experience aesthetically, and in some ways, mechanically via the Cerebral Brush.  And even though Eiji Aonuma went overboard in his attempt at topping OoT (by essentially trying to walk in OoT's footsteps), TP remains a more polished game overall.

My opinion could change as I get further into Okami.

err... whats the infinity symbol? :/ Is there one symbol I didnt get yet? I actually finished the game already

end of core gaming days prediction:

E3 2006-The beginning of the end. Wii introduced

E3 2008- Armageddon. Wii motion plus introduced. Wii Music. Reggie says Animal crossing was a core game. Massive disappointment. many Wii core gamers selling their Wii.

E3 2010- Tape runs out

I just get this game!

MY ZELDA COLLECTION

for the fire (indeed the infinity symbol) you have to give the golden mushroom to the cook (in sei-en city)

on topic....I really love this game (playing it on the ps2) and i recommended it to some collegues who own a wii....and they loved it as well.

My only negative point is the sound when there is a conversation... they could left it away.
pro.....the humor....far better than zelda.

I love TP but I love Okami even more on Wii
