stage, if you weren't retarded you would know what i've said is fact, mark rein, the LEADER OF EPIC GAMES has said this himself, when gears 1 launched, he told 1up that gears is their ip and that they own it, and just recently when they asked 'is gears 2 exclusive to 360' he said 'this one is, but after that we don't know'

I Think Bungie is just trying to escape the grasp of microsoft.

Spare me. All companies would like to have their own individual success. This applies for all companies who work for Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo. Any dev that wants to get anywhere near the hundreds of millions constantly has to work with larger companies gather knowledge and then break away. Bungie will still be making 1st party Halo games for Microsoft even though they are a 2nd party now. Who knows? They just might make more interesting games.

This may get me to start playing Halo 3 again...

What that means is that Epic had a deal with Microsoft for 2 Gears of War games.  Even if Gears of War 3 comes out for the PS3, it isn't going to push many 360 owners that direction.  Still, I think PS3 owners would enjoy the game too.  The fanbase for the series is still going to be overwelmingly 360 owners.  If I were calling the shots for Microsoft, though, I would pay for Gears of War 3 to be a launch game for the next Xbox.  Even though I like multiplatform games, I just see that as a smart business move for MS.
