What video game do you consider as a huge letdown.

For me I would say..... DMC2.... followed by Assassin's Creed... GTA4....

i have to go with halo 3, sure it is fun but they left me hanging with 2 and i really feel 3 just didnt bring it, but the multiplayer

keeps me coming back for more

@edit--the end of halo where master cheif takes off his helmet, i was hoping to see his face but no....an they have never let it happen yet

FF XII, even though I like it a lot, it's just not as good as the others... better than IX though.

MGS2.

MGS1 was epicly briliant and what we got from MGS2 was first part epic, second part joke, last part bullshit.

I think the biggest letdowns for me were the original Fable and (I'm going to get flamed to hell for this) Mario Kart Wii.

Fable is a perfect example of a game where the hype went overboard and the game itself couldn't match.

Mario Kart Wii, mainly because the races are now item and luck based more so than skill based, and I'm sick of going from first to ninth mid-lap on the third lap all the time.

Jaws Unleashed.

 I second the notion on fable, at the same time though I just hope that fable 2 doesn't follow the same path.

Donkey 64. After the brilliance of DKC 1-2 (3 never happened!!!) I wanted it to go the way of Mario64 and OoT but wow. It let me down....so down.

Super Paper Mario (WII).

This game was still good but they removed pretty well all of the rpg elements and took away the turn based fighting mode.... the bosses where to easy while some of "puzzles" where ridiculously boring....

Final Fantasy XII, and to a lesser extent Twilight Princess(was hyped WAY to much)
