You can also go to amazon.co.jp and see the same basic scenario.

One Elite left in stock as of right now:

Arcade and Pro sold out:

You can click "Translate to English" on the top right if you can't read Japanese.

Also, when I checked Tales of Vesperia on launch day, Amazon said it would take 3-5 days to receive, most likely because they sold out and needed to get more stock. Looks like today they finally got some.

The good thing about this is that it sparks more interest in the system for being sold out.  More people will want to jump on the hype wagon just like the Wii and Wii fit (although obviously not at those levels).  Japanese people love to buy what's popular and they really like to wait in line for stuff.

Scratch that.  The Elite just sold while I typed that and now customers are being referred to a third party for 58,800 yen!  ($550)

Thanks for the pics smbu :)

Its a good sign but I had hoped MS anticipated this better and stocked up in time. Its a good problem to have though! Hope it stays better stocked for IU release.

Japanese domination begins look out wii.

ROFLOL...It's amazing that it was something as simple as this to get the 360 to crack the hard shell of Japan. There is probably ALOT of content that M$ can throw some cash at to get developed for the 360...and solidly build a fanbase in Japan...that would be truly amazing.

just means that 360 will stay around PS3 that bit longer in Japan ... so long as MS can meet demand with further shipments. But this will have an effect on the buying public if they see it sold out then that muist create interest and further demand surely.

It also shows how much ms will persevere.

They have had such a bad time in Japan but still kept plugging away at it.

Very neat. I wonder how many consoles had to sell to become sold out there..

Hopefully MS can restock the 360 soon, and in force. Maybe this will get retailers to display the X360 more, and sell more week to week.

Back from the dead, I'm afraid.

3 I think.

sorry bad joke but I could'nt resist.

It's a shame they didn't have more consoles available for the ToV release. I don't think IU or Last Remnant will push as many consoles as ToV had the ability to do.
