Well whatever it is I wouldn't get your hopes up. Often when company representatives say stuff like "we're working on that" the solution they come up with is a lot less substantial than fans speculate.

Yep. Funny how these things get overexagerated.
Heck it could even be that Monster Hunter Wii is coming to the us since we don't really see the context of it.
I mean... Monster Hunter fans in the US doesn't seem to indicate anything like a new project. Unless it was like... US only. Seems like it'd be something that just wasn't announced in the US yet.
Like a release... or rerelease.

PSblog isn't a PS3 fan site? Cause that's where they lifted the story from.

Fixing things in the series isn't going to do much. The reason MH isn't all that popular in the West is because: |
Sounds like they want a Dead Rising/Lost Planet sized hit with MH3 in the US. I definitely want to check MH3 out. I heard the series is a love it/ hate it affair but I will try it anyway
Haha! Stop trying to twist words around. MH3 is Wii exclusive! Deal with it Sony!XD

Look at it this way. If the Wii is so ideal to develop for, wouldn't we see a Street fighter, Bionic commando, DMC4, RE5, etc on the Wii? There's also a much stronger DS install base in Japan oppsed to PSP, what prevented Capcom from making Monster hunter on the DS? It's not always about the install base, sometimes the studios want to make the best product possible, and sometimes it's not going to be the cheapest option.
This thread is quite a stretch. But gotta keep hope alive, I guess. I was just on the GameFAQs MH3 board yesterday and there are STILL Sony fanboys holed up there bitching a screaming. Right now they're rocking back and forth telling themselves that a PS3 will come after the Wii version. I say don't hold your breath.
Tag - "No trolling on my watch!"

Half of those games started before the Wii came out, Street Fighter could still hit the Wii, and Bionic Commando I'm not so sure about. Those games aren't MH though. MH only has (VERY) limited appeal in the West and gets the majority of its sales from Japan. When Wii sales in Japan are MUCH, MUCH higher than PS3 sales in Japan...what's the point of making a MH on the PS3. |
You don't understand people bringing up a topic that has been talked about to death in threads? I figured atleast you would understand. y'know, all those blacked out comments on where KH3 is going that you love to do
