Capcom: Possible PS3 Monster hunter in NA ?

It could be if they fix some of the problems with the series(I heard the collision detection is horrible)

 

 

Fixing things in the series isn't going to do much. The reason MH isn't all that popular in the West is because:

1. Some of them didn't even hit the West.
2. The ones that did hit the West got like...no marketing whatsoever.

What's good though is Capcom said they push a heavy MH3 campaign in the West...which is great. I'm looking forward to it.

As for this, like DMJ said, it's probably that. I was thinking along the lines of MHF3 for the PSP as well...but we won't be seeing that for a while.

I don't. It's cheaper to just make one on the Wii and the Wii Japan userbase will be much higher anyway. With MH3 they could familiarize more people to the series on the Wii so there's no point at all to make one on the PS3. I'm not sure a good deal of PS3 owners would care about MH.

Sounds like they want a Dead Rising/Lost Planet sized hit with MH3 in the US.  I definitely want to check MH3 out.  I heard the series is a love it/ hate it affair but I will try it anyway
