and I know you can network 360s, but can you daisy chain/network PS3s? Just curious.

yeah you sure can, it works the same way as a 360 does. get a game that's lan compatible, and a router with sufficient ports (no net connection required), and you're good to go! or with just 2 ps3's get a crossover cable.
