@ twestern, you never do....

I used newegg to buy the two I have. You can get a 6 foot one for $10.

ebay's the way to go I got 2 HDMI cables for 10 bucks and they were the top of the line 1.3b versions

Ebay.com is your best friend dude!

I bought a new HDMI cable off Ebay for $5 and the shipping was $4 I think.

Certainly worth it, I use it for my 360 and PS3 vice-versa. Awesome and had no problems with it.

The only thing you may have to worry about is if the cord is HDMI 1.2 or 1.3, but that is only an issue if you want greater than 5.1 surround sound, which a lot of people don't even have yet.

We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers…Also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether and two dozen amyls.  The only thing that really worried me was the ether.  There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge. –Raoul Duke

It is hard to shed anything but crocodile tears over White House speechwriter Patrick Buchanan's tragic analysis of the Nixon debacle. "It's like Sisyphus," he said. "We rolled the rock all the way up the mountain...and it rolled right back down on us...."  Neither Sisyphus nor the commander of the Light Brigade nor Pat Buchanan had the time or any real inclination to question what they were doing...a martyr, to the bitter end, to a "flawed" cause and a narrow, atavistic concept of conservative politics that has done more damage to itself and the country in less than six years than its liberal enemies could have done in two or three decades. -Hunter S. Thompson

You'll be hard pressed to find 1.2 profile cables since they aren't any cheaper to make than 1.3 profile (unless you're buying really old warehouse stock).

Rule of thumb, for shorter length cables (typical being 6ft) don't pay more than $10 total. There just isn't any point.

Unless the cable is defective due to low QC, it won't make the slightest difference.

"Why post something like this when all it will get is PS3 owners blinded to reality replying? BOTH THE PS3 AND BLUE-RAY WILL NOT LAST 3 YEARS! TECHNOLOGY CHANGED TOO FAST!"

"is it Wii FIt that has sold as many as PS3's sold? Thats a LOL Look at the total sales of software is it just me that sees Nintendo titles hitting 10m+ and you say they arent making a difference? Another LOL!"

"Hell, with all the negative hype Sony spin, people just aren't interested cost is too high and to get the true HD experience (1080p, 7.1 surround) you will need a $1000+ system. THAT IS GOING TO DO IT IN A RECESSION! PS4 will not happen"
