RTS, Starcraft.

QTF.

TBS.

I've outgrown RTS and it is likely to stay that way, until SC3 is released anyway...

Turn based. The battle for wesnoth is brilliant and absolutely free.

Bet reminder: I bet with Tboned51 that Splatoon won't reach the 1 million shipped mark by the end of 2015. I win if he loses and I lose if I lost.

It's not really strategy if you don't have time to think. :P

So are you saying there's no strategy in real military conflicts? Mmmmm. :P

I choose real time, but if you played Warcraft 2 you could tell that from my avatar.

I agree. Starcraft is more remembering how to do stuff, and do it fast. So are most RTS.

I mean, there's a reason chess isn't real time.

That is VGChartz LONGEST review. And it's NOT Cute Kitten DS

Turn based.

RTS's always turn into "let's see who can come up with a quick way to build x number of units and use that every game".

(that doesn't mean I'm totally opposed to RTS's though)
