i didnt get to try that much of it

Dont worry its not that good but its good enough for a buy...

The story and atmosphere do get better until about 3/4ths of the way through, after which the whole thing falls flat, but if you didn't like the first hour or so chances are the rest won't hook you either.

In short: Hell yes. Bioshock is amazing, and well worth your money. Innovative gameplay, biting social commentary, magnificent storytelling and art direction, and a few genuinely moving moments, all wrapped up into one package. It's not something that you should miss.

"'Casual games' are something the 'Game Industry' invented to explain away the Wii success instead of actually listening or looking at what Nintendo did. There is no 'casual strategy' from Nintendo. 'Accessible strategy', yes, but ‘casual gamers’ is just the 'Game Industry''s polite way of saying what they feel: 'retarded gamers'."

He said he only played the start.

I can see what he means, a lot of games you have to "get in to" before they are any good.

I never bothered "getting in to" bishock....but I will one day.

Everyone says its great....

It's not a bad game. I was hooked when the game started, but the way the game moves you forward gets really annoying to me. You're about to move to your objective in the story, but then something happens to block your path and now you have to do a whole bunch of crap before you can move on again.

Also, the ending parts of the game were meh.

This. Bioshock is still one my top 3 video games of all time.

And 3/4ths of the way in, the story lets down, but it doesn't get any worse then an average campaign game. People were just so sensitized by how amaxing the first 3/4ths were that they don't know that the last part is still actually good, just not as good.

GOTY Contestants this year: Dead Space 2, Dark Souls, Tales of Graces f. Everything else can suck it.

I really liked it. The atmosphere was very unique. Very high quality sound/visuals. Interesting story.

Perhaps my only grudge is that I found the end too easy. Was hoping for a murderous final chapter.

Overal from me 9.9/10.

And it has multiple endings, which I always like.
