I thought White Knight Story was a Sony game?

KH3 Wii. It matches the mixed audience and family friendly image so perfectly, and the art style doesn't require powerful graphics. It has a very good chance of being Wii.

I don't know what Knight's Story is, so I guess I have no opinion lol.

WKS has pretty much been confirmed PS3 Exclusive.  Level-5 is a very Sony oriented studio, but I don't think they are total Sony (they make DS games as well)

And I don't see KH dropping Playstation since the PS2 pretty much made the game what it is.  That and Square-Enix is still very much Playstation even though they are branching out a little.  I can't see another situation were Final Fantasy moved entirely off a platform, as it did from Nintendo to Sony in the past.  You might see "simplified" games on the Wii from Square-Enix, but they still very much love the cinematic stuff. 

The next Kingdom Hearts game won't be called Kingdom Hearts 3.. Also expect more than one Kingdom Hearts game and that they'll be announced for different consoles (PS3, Wii, DS, and PSP).

Not to bitch, but did you forget to count both mrstickball and my vote for PS3 Kingdom Hearts?

For some reason I see KH3 going to the Wii since it fits the appeal of a family friendly image.

Yeah, White Knight Story is a definite, no question PS3 exclusive. It's not like DMC4, where they said stuff like: "At this time, Devil May Cry 4 is being developer for the Playstation 3. Right now." Instead, it's "This game is exclusive to the Playstation 3, and we're happy to be using only this console for our game." Big difference in Business speak :p

Otherwise, I disagree. Lots of games have switched platforms and done well (or better): Metal Gear as well as Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest, the other major Square properties. BOTH of those SE properties have switched platforms (in the case of DQ, multiple times) and done quite well. I'm not arguing that switching can't be bad (it can), but given Square's recent remarks, and given the current lay of the land, I think it's unlikely that a console that's sold 2/5 the number of systems and 1/4 the number of games as the Wii is likely to be the right choice, especially as those gaps are growing, not shrinking. 

I think the next game in main series of Kingdom Hearts is going to the Wii. SE is showing some hesitation towards the PS3 recently and I just do not see it ending up there.

Actually, 360 is a possibility. We're not talking Dragon Quest here. Look at these figures:

As you can see, the bulk of Kingdom Heart's sales have come from Europe and America (over 75 percent).  Compare this to Dragon Quest:

Where something like, oh, 90-95 percent of sales come from Japan. If Square was to put ANY of their franchises on the 360, it would be Kingdom Hearts, as it's the most Western-leaning franchise they have. They have spoken openly of spreading the love this generation -- not focusing on Sony, but dividing their efforts amongst all three consoles -- and if 360 really is going to get significantly more development from SE than the original Xbox did, Kingdom Hearts is basically the only major franchise they have that could reasonably fit into the 360's demographic.
