When I was little, I played several violent video games on my N64 and was a troublemaker. Since then I havn't really been allowed to play violent video games, but now that I have been 17 for 8 months I have been able to. Do violent video games make anyone else feel violent? Different games seem to do different things; Smash bros does nothing unless I play it for several hours, in which case I become somewhat mean. If I play for prolonged periods I get endless thoughts of characters in brawl getting pummled senselessly. Going on killing spress in sandbox games tends to make me more agressive for a time. Does this happen to most people, or is it just me?
Also, since I havn't played very violent games in a long time, I find I do not like ultraviolent video games, particularly FPS games. For people who like these games- did you wait until you were 15 or older to play them, or did you play them all the time since you were little?
edit- mods, could you please chance "anfry" to "angry"? Thank you!
