if i am in a smelly place then mouth all the way, but usualy through the nose, it would be useless thing to have if you dont breath with it.

Nose when it can be done without making that annoying weezing sound. Of course when I'm asleep that's a small price to pay, as mouth breathing at night dries my mouth out in no time.
