I really can't see how people can't believe in any god, I mean, that must be so depressing knowing once you die, you will slowly fade away into nothing. At least with a religion, you believe there will be something better for you.

To be honest I only look for what I believe is true, no matter how harsh, to me the fact that when I die I am gone may be somewhat depressing but at least its the truth. For me at least I simply cannot rationalize the existence of an omnipotent being. I can see how people would believe in a god - though I personally think the evidence is strongly against it - however I don't see how people can believe in a literal interpretation of the bible.
It's remarkably hard to believe in something with obscenely large quantities of evidence against it. Especially for somebody who values logic above all else. So no, I do not believe in any deity.

You would rather make yourself believe in a lie that makes you feel good than enduring the truth?
Sometimes i wish i could believe in god, but like Rath said, i can't rationalize a omnipotent being watching us and everything.

Prove to me he doesnt exist and I'll buy your statement. Some people are different than others, I dont push my faith on people, so dont push your lack of faith on us.
I own all three current consoles and a great gaming rig, now thats out of the way.

How can i prove something that doesn't even have proof of existance doesn't exist? Shouldn't the believers be trying to make us think he exist and not the contrary?
Many already tried and i didn't bought it, and I'm not trying to convert you, i'm saying that believing in something only because it makes you feel good even knowing it might not be truth is ridiculous.
