Forums - Sales - Will the conduit be a system seller? Also, how well will COD5 on wii sell?

Question: Do we know the release dates of Conduit, CoD 5, Madworld and Dead Rising? Because if they're all fairly close together, there could be a slight demographic push amongst teenage gamers who see enough "HARDCORE!!!!" games coming out to warrant getting the Wii



I'm a mod, come to me if there's mod'n to do.

Conduit will do under 1M, depending on what publisher picks it up.

I think COD:WaW will do over 2M. It has the hot brand, it sounds non-gimped, and it's hitting an underserved audience on Wii.

How do you know this time it will be different when I think of COD on th wii I think of madden just the same game with upgrades I am sure it won't sell good on the wii if COD5 surpasses 1 million copies on the wii this will be my new avatar:

@ctk495 Because the game will have online, local multiplayer, most likely better controls because of the revolution that Metroid Prime 3 and Mohh2 did with controls, and judging by the graphics alot of work has been put into the game. Also the game had 8months to release on 6 home consoles+PC. While CoD 5 will have about 2 years to release on 3 consoles, PC, and the handhelds(which don't cost much at all, or take up time). Also it had competition with Red Steel, and Medal of Honor Vanguard. Not to mention games that aren't in its genre like Twilight Princess. Also it was a LAUCH title. Meaning there were 0 consoles sold at the time of release, and not even close to the amount now afterwards. So I will be expecting that to be your avatar come November-December.

The Conduit a system seller yes ,but no to the casuals, the hardcore americans might give in and buy a wii if this has moderate to aggressive advertising.(Examples moderate advertising =Metroid prime 3 ,Aggressive advertising= GTA 4)

Cod5: Here is my synopsis if it scores over a 8 and has online it will sell over a million easily if not just over 500,000.



I love fighting games !!! Come on challenge me !

Nothing is a system seller for the Wii. You either want it or you don't. It's not like people will be like, " Oh man. I have to get the Wii because of that game the Conduit."

COD 5 on the Wii is going to sell at least a million. Probably two. There is an untapped market with online shooters for the Wii.

i bet that nintendo snagged the conduit, if so, then they will market the game like crazy. then the conduit will have a chance at being a system seller.

Call of duty 5 will do well because it has online, 1.5-2.5 million
