Since FFXIII go multi ,everything's possible now. :)
But instead of port ,i think R* better create new open-end world for Wii. X3

But the point is that it still appeared on the console anyway. Are you trying to say Rockstar hates money? o_o
Random game thought :
Why is Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 getting so much hate? We finally get a real game and they're not even satisfied... I'm starting to hate the gaming community so f****** much...

Didn't it also mostly bomb on PS2 and PSP as well? It was also delayed a lot and got heavily censored. And personally I thought the first one was better. =P

THEN WHY DO YOU BOTHER POSTING??? NO ONE CARES WHAT YOU THINK IF YOU DON'T HAVE ANY VALUABLE INPUT!!!
And I apologize for the use of capitals.
Anyways, I think Rockstar will watch the performance of GTA on the DS in order to gauge how successful it would be on the Wii. So far, there is no evidence that a Grand Theft Auto would do well on the Wii, but there hasn't been a heavily advertised Sandbox game on the Wii yet (except for Manhunt 2, but that didn't do well on any platform). GTA was previously on the Gameboy and PERHAPS the Gameboy Advance, but they were so unheard of that I can't imagine they sold much. With more advertising and on a more popular system, Chinatown Wars has a chance to sell well and could pave the way for the GTA series on Nintendo platforms.
On the other hand, I just don't see the GTA series selling well on the Wii or DS. Maybe they could crack a million with heavy advertisement, but the profits would be small.
@brainbox that it did, point is,its widely known the wii is a family console. gta is not family friendly. im not saying gta wont be on the wii. im saying that chances are doubtful.
im thinking they will see how it does on DS then think about a wii version
I think it could happen. We'll have to wait and see, I guess.

Then don't post in this topic.
No one cares that you don't care!
I think a GTA Wii is definitely possible. I remember seeing an interview where someone from Rockstar said they were "intrigued" by the Wii controls in relation to a GTA. So at least they are thinking about it, if nothing else.
For me, GTA DS was more surprising than a (would be) GTA Wii.
# of games above 75 on Metacritic (including downloadable):
360: 241 DS: 144
PS3: 152 PSP: 126
Wii: 85
What team is even working on the DS GTA game, The main R* team i would imagine is working on the PC port and the DLC packs for the 360. Then they will be working extensively on the next GTA game for the 360/PS3. I don't really see a lot of room to make a wii game when they have the best selling franchise for the other consoles. They have made the engine and it will be pretty easy to make the next GTA game.
They have nothing so far on the wii, and it would take extensive man power and money to make a decent engine and a good GTA game on the wii.
