Interesting. His MFG Date of 6/30 didn't produce a Jasper 65nm GPU/CPU, but did had some re-worked memory chip placing for heating & cost issues.

With the new X360 price drops supposedly on the way, all we can do is wait and see when the Jaspers start popping up.



Back from the dead, I'm afraid.

No changes to the CPU mean RROD will be just as common. The memory was never even remotely related to the problem. I really don't understand MS. You would think it would be cheaper to fix the problem than keep replacing them.

until now i dont know whats the real problem that cause the RROD .... i think its from the memory chips in the bottom because they remove it from the new 60gb model.

Well he did say the Falcons took a while to appear proper as well.

If it could be fixed cheaper/easier they would have done so.
