Forums - Gaming - If Sony keeps the 10 year plan for the PS3 will it reach the 150 million?

So what do you guys think, I think it well be pretty damn close but more then likely less probably around 120 million

IF is saying a lot, IF they keep their plan, then yeah it's possible.

PS3 will definitely start doing better, so it will be close, but i dont see it passing PS2 numbers.

it all depends if blu ray takes off and how well the ps3 does next year

i dont think they will reach it

NeoGeo had a 15 year plan. I don't think it quite measured up to 150 million though. The PS3 can have 20 years on the market, because if no one buys it then no amount of years will help it out.

i dont think so becasuse once xbox and wii announce there new systems its sales will drop alot and there sales arnt that good as of rite now but they might be able to but thats a big number for such a pricey system and when there currently in 3rd place

No

- It won't sell for 10 years

- Even if Sony decides to be stubborn and force it in the market for 10 years it won't have those sales as interest will dwindle and sales will level off well before 150 million

You mean you guys don't expect it to average 17 million for the next eight years?

I doubt that it will be selling for 10 years, but in the rarea case that it would, i think that it could reach the ps2 numbers.
