The news everybody knew it was coming has finally arrived. Sweet, I'll be able to play GTAIV this year!

The rumors have been circulating for months, but today Rockstar officially confirmed that Grand Theft Auto IV will be hitting the PC on Nov. 18 in North America and Nov. 21 in Europe.

"We are very excited to be releasing the PC version of Grand Theft Auto IV," said Sam Houser, Founder of Rockstar Games. "The whole team is dedicated to bringing an amazing gaming experience to the PC. The game looks and plays beautifully on PC and we can't wait for people to play it."

It looks like the PC version will be ported by Rockstar North, though I've pinged Rockstar to be sure. I've also asked them about pricing, DLC and system requirements for the PC version.

Expected. I wonder what improvements they made on the PC version.

I see, GTA IV will have a "newly expanded multiplayer just for the PC". So some improvements are made on the PC version.

I knew it was coming, but I think I'll stick with my PS3 version.

I know the game is overrated, but I plan on getting it, since it looks pretty fun and I'm sure the mods on PC will be great...there's no reason to get it on consoles anymore...I've got a 360 controller for my PC anyway.

it was known that it was coming but still great news to know the date, PC is getting almost all the great console games except for for exclusives, that's why its still the best

I've been playing this at on my ExBox 360 (exgirlfriends Xbox 360) and I will get it.

I hope the cities are more active (more pedestrians, cars) in the PC version.
