I'm not saying that Wii only owners would never buy the game, but if you owned only a Wii, and a 2.5 year old port-make came to your system, would you pay full price for the game?

I would hope people would wait until the price dropped to buy it.

It's a moot point anyway.

RE4 Wii was budget priced, this will be too.

Ninja Gaiden Sigma. Just a counter example, there are probably more.

I'm sure this game will be 49.99$.

How many cups of darkness have I drank over the years? Even I don't know...

I didn't know that Team Ninja made Dead Rising.  I could have sworn it was Capcom, who, through the past have shown on the Wii to release port-makes of games at budget pricing, a la Resident Evil 4.

You didn't say your theory was only supposed to be valid for Capcom.

I can also say: I could have sworn RE4 was a last-gen game.

What about Lost Planet for PS3? Wasn't it a full-priced game?

If you played Dead Rising on an non-HDTV KoW you would understand it.

I played Dead Rising on a 50" HD-TV and I could still barely read it. =P

Geez, I'm starting to wonder how bad it could have been. Nice to know it's fixed in the Wii version.

On an HDTV I had no trouble reading it.  The problem was for standard def.  This thread is the first I've ever heard of anyone playing it in HD and still having problems.  I think some people are just exaggerating.

It's perfectly legidble on my TV, it's just still extremely tiny and annoying to read. The ticker usually just displays worthless information anyways so I just started ignoring it.

EDIT: I just realized I didn't make it clear that I found only the fake news ticker at the bottom of the screen "barely readable" on my set.

Add Siren to that list.

A web article summarizes the latest Nintendo Power, but the summary doesn't state whether this will be 100 on screen, or 100 in an area.

It was revealed Sunday that in order for this to come true on the Wii's hardware that Capcom would be switching Dead Rising Wii to a slightly more 8-bit-ish look like Megaman 9.
