I enjoyed the first two on PS1. I briefly played Wrath of Heaven, but not long enough to pass judgement on it. General consensus is that the series has been going downhill.

My only concern from the videos is that the death animations looked awfully sloppy, but playable Ninja Cat and the lethal sacking make up for that.

That 4th video made me cringe

anyway, pretty good all-around, but I agree about the death animations. They have a fixed animation which means they can potentially not make sense. In the first video the guy is clearly facing the other way, then he all of a sudden is facing the other way so the Ninja can grab his throat.
