I enjoyed the first two on PS1. I briefly played Wrath of Heaven, but not long enough to pass judgement on it. General consensus is that the series has been going downhill.
My only concern from the videos is that the death animations looked awfully sloppy, but playable Ninja Cat and the lethal sacking make up for that.
