IGN's rumor record isn't exactly stellar.

We know the game isn't coming to PS3, though. I believe N'Gai Croal broke that story?

Its inevitable that some Katamari game eventually comes to both PS3 and Wii, though. Whether it is this iteration or not, I don't care.

His story seemed to describe it as being a timed exclusive.

This rumor says that the plug was pulled on the PS3 version, and that they are working on a Beutiful Katamari version for the Wii.

 This could explain why the 360's graphics didn't look anything special for the game... it maybe a Wii game that's been ported to the 360. In theory you could run the code for a Wii game on the 360 very easily since the architecture is very similar.

Prepare for termination! It is the only logical thing to do, for I am only loyal to Megatron.

It is a type of game that you HAVE to play to understand. I was the same way. Then, I played a demo at Circuit City. Fell in love with the game.

Yes. You are correct.

Agree.  I played it at a friends house and next day I bought it.

However this game gets boring really quick.  I didn't bother getting the sequel.

crappy old school NES games are more entertaining than next-gen games.

Indeed.  This is one of those games that grabs your attention really hard, forces you to play nonstop for hours, and then you put it down and don't pick it up for at least a year.  It's weird like that.

I think significance of game lies more in slap to the face of Sony in losing a game that used to be only thiers. But not big deal.

End of 2007 Predictions:

Wii =18m

360=14m

PS3=7m

DS=64m

PSP=30m

If this is all true, I would be totally thrilled! Hopefully they'll make some more announcements about Swords of Legendia soon *wub*.

It'd be good, Tales of Symphonya is one of my fav games.

YES!!! I want this game and I wasn't going to buy a PS3. If IGN is reporting this than it is probably going to happen.

doubt it, I like tales of phantasia and symphonia but all of the tales series have been mediocre

namco will probably screw this game up

I don't see the big deal about this game? I haven't played it before but it looks exceedingly boring to me, you just role around and get bigger am i correct?

It's actually not too bad. It's premise is similar to Elebits. You roll over small stuff and try to get to the big stuff as soon as possible before the timer runs out. It's fun to see how big of items you can roll over. What seems boring is the new paint version that another developer is doing where you have to roll over and paint certain landmarks in a timeframe, but then if they made "finding those landmarks" as a puzzle showing a picture taken from 1 angle or something along those lines then it might be kinda fun.

 just beinganal about wording... it's more like "Elebit's premise is similar to Katamari".  The wacky characters give the game the cult following that it deserves.  Unlike this "Blob" knockoff that I just read about that's also coming for the Wii:

http://kotaku.com/gaming/indie-game/de-blob-heading-to-de-wii-273625.php

Of course, the Blob could have characters just as funny... but I just can't imagine ANY possible way they get any more wacky.  The King, The Princes, man oh man, why is it only the Japanese come out with these characters?

the Wii is an epidemic.
