Forums - Sales - The Xbox360 could beat the PS3 over the *whole* of July worldwide.

Ioi seems to only adjust to bring the PS3 down ,we have been receiving info about US Ltd of the 360 and Wii for months that push toward a adjustement in the numbers to the lower spectrum and he hasnt moved a finger. But hey ,if the PS3 is showed to be 40K under the estimated numbers its adjusted in pretty much one hour or two.

That aside,I think NPD data will still show the PS3 ahead this month. And as it sells more in Europe and Japan its a worlwide win.We will have to wait.

Hmmm.... for some reason I just don't see the 360 getting enough consoles sold.....

4 ≈ One

Personally I'm hoping we'll continue to have a viable 3-competitor generation. It's so much better for all involved parties.

As to the numbers on this site: I'm pretty sure they are not biased. They might be slightly inaccurate from time to time* but I see zero reason to suggest that one console is favored/unfavored amongst the three.

Besides, just what do we expect from a free site with

360 is back on the rise........ it'll win this week making it 3 straight weeks....... it'll make it 4 weeks straignt the week after..... the ps3 will occasionally win between september and october....... but in november with Gears of war 2 and Left 4 Dead........ its GOODNIGHT SONY...... from november the 360 will never look back....

want to make a bet? Loser gets banned for life

November will be a good time for the 360 and if MS do the right bundles things could go very well...Especially if the Jasper internals are in place and it is nice and quite..

It's still up in the air whether L4D will hit the PS3, but I agree with your second point

Gears of War 2 will help sell some systems, but it won't be a huge system seller for the reasons you gave above.

This sounds reasonable, but I would add a caveat... if MS releases a low-cost 360 bundled with Gears of War 2, that might very well be a system seller.

Then go start your own site...

Typical ignorant Diomedes, once again completely ignoring Sony's own published numbers.

Alright FishyJoe, don't let him get to you. He's not worth it.

Oh, and I was thinking of taking this thread seriously until I heard someone say that holiday season 2008 would be "GOODNIGHT SONY!!!" Come on. The 360 is destined for last place and everyone knows it.

Both the PS3 and 360 have been lingering on a 40-50k difference for the past several months. So why does it surprise anyone that the 360 BARELY outsells the PS3 when it gets a highly motivational deal on prices in its strongest territory whereas the PS3 faces supply problems in all but its weakest territory?

Hey, look at the PS3. It's outsold the Wii worldwide at least 3 times. Come back when you can say the same about the 360.

Thewierd thing about this constraint is that as far as my area, I've seen no signs of it. I am in NA.

Not saying its not happening, though. Just that PS3s are everywhere.

GOTY Contestants this year: Dead Space 2, Dark Souls, Tales of Graces f. Everything else can suck it.
