I personally am very excited about this. I dont think many know what this actually means for PSP owners. This is basically saying the PSP is getting it's first MMORPG!!!!!!

FFXIII Agito was planned to be a cell based MMORPG. It would utilize 2D graphics and allow you to party up with others and such. From what I hear it surrounds around a School for the young warriors (ala SEED in FFVIII). As far as I know mmo's on a handheld are un heard of but would be cool. Being able to travel around a world with ppl else where. I am geussing if someone else with the game is near you can form a static Party or something similar. What do you guys think...

Yea moogles are awsome :D. I hear they will actually be a playable race in this one as well. I always wished that in FFXI you could play as a moogle.

All signs point to the game only being on the PSP and the Cell Phone game is scrapped. However, even if it is for Mobile as well, SE has said the game is being developed for the Next-Generation of Cell Phones. Which is fine since Japanese Cell Phones are years head of what we have,

no it is a job based MMO. You might of gotten that impression from the photo of the guy with the cards in his hand that they show so often. Some might think "Oh its just a cell Port..." but in actuallity this game was going to be PSP/PS2 quality anyway. Its not like the cell games we have here in US. Japanese cell market is huge and they can produce monsterous graphics so it actually SHOULD be on par with most regular PSP games.  I see it as a better game now simply becuz US has no market for cell games. It is better off this way.

It is a port of the Cell Phone game, and the Cell game is still in production. It's interesting though to be sure. The XIII spinoffs look a lot better than XIII so far hehe.
