Well, next gen Nintendo should definitely continue with the Wii, improve the motion controller and give graphical capabilities on par or better than the PS3( i expext the cost of the console to be no more than 300$).

As for what to do in the future.....well, i'll level with ya, the only thing that is next is virtual reality. Of course i don't mean that the gfx in VR would be photo realistic, they can even be Wii like in the first generation of it's kind, but this will ultimately be the final evolution in gaming. VR plus photo realistic gfx? End game, no need for future consoles.

I wouldn't be surprised if Nintendo fell into a slump like with the N64 and GC after this gen only to come back in glory yet again with first true VR.

But that's a long shot, i'll admit that.

Haha, it's a dupe thread... I blame Menago for rezzing it!

It doesn't mean much, as I only care about the DS and was never interested in the Wii. The only game I want for the Wii is available for the dirt cheap Gamecube - Twilight Princess. I don't care what they do with the Wii, but if they keep releasing crap in the vein of Wii music I'll never get it. I'll be getting a Gamecube soon, I missed out on a few good titles that it has... thank you eBay :)

It doesn't mean much, as long as hardcore games keep coming out on PS3 and 360.

I'm just curious, if Wii music (or the whole Wii series for that matter) just never existed would you feel more comfortable with the Wii?  Do games you dislike being released on the console take away from it?

I'm asking because that's what it sounds like, from what you said.  I think instead, you should be thinking "If they don't release games that I like I will not purchase the system."
