Look at their big upcoming games:Infinite Undiscovery,  The Last Remnant, Star Ocean 4,  Final Fantasy XIII, Final Fantasy Versus XIII, and the portable Kingdom Hearts games

 

Does that look like S-E are abandoning the hardcore? I don't think so.

Hmm....wait a minute. What if that's not the game they wanted to announce? I mean what if it's not that supposed "major" announcement? It should be on August 2nd...unless they announced this game at the midnight which would make sense (in Japan it's already August 2nd I assume).

Why the hate? It's not like Square is a bad developer, right now nothing out does WiiSports which is really sad so I'm looking forward to see what good developer can do... my gf is going to make me buy this LOL

+ this will fund Final Fantasy XIII for 360 so it's all good!

 

edit: Ops, mental error!!! For some reason I immediately thought Wii.  GF wont be getting this.

Maybe he's simply not interested RPG's?

I'm not really into them anymore either, just not a fan of Snoopy. But if you like the old Peanuts cartoons, something like this would probably be pretty appealing. It looks authentic to the show and simple, it'd probably be a nice nostalgia trip for those people.

I love how SE pumps out tons of big budget RPG's and they second they announce a Snoopy game for DS a lot of people start in with the melodrama about being abandoned. (That's not aimed at you, I know you're trying to talk some sense into people.)

The ironic thing is that half of their upcoming big budget RPGs are only being published by themselves.
