Don't they already have poker on WiiWare?

I disagree the wii mote is cool.

#1 and #2 are just dumb. as in the motion controller is what makes the wii amazing and its a great gaming controller, you saying its not a gaming controller doesn't mean its not, especially since its blows away the old controller technology like whats used in ps3/360. also changing the color of the wii would in no way make it better for the hardcore or anyone.

#5 is also dumb cuz its called wiiware.

#3 is sorta dumb, although i agree they should have better commercials showing some of the more kickass games in them this also in no way would make the wii any better for hardcore gamers as they are just commercials. core gamers are gonna know whats on a system no matter what commercials there are. also nintendo commercials have sadly always sucked.

#4 is very true, i was actually thinking about this today, how 360 pays money to stop ps3 from having some of its biggest games be exclusive. nintendo should compete this way too. only reason it wouldn't work as well is cuz 360 and ps3 are basically the same so its easy pay a company just to port a game over after development has started, but you'd have to make the game from scratch for the wii. but they should do something to get a lot more good 3rd party support.

the only thing besides #4 that makes any sense is if having an option for more storage space and better online setup were added in there. friend codes should be abolished.

I like the Wii remote, but in case you haven't noticed, it can be flipped and used like a normal controller. So you have two controllers in one.

#1 is stupid, and IMO SMG and MP3 proves it. All that Nintendo would need to win back the core gamers are the folowing : built in HDD, dropp the friend codes and make real gamer IDs, new Mario, Metroid, Zelda, M rated Nintendo IP and at least a half dozen high-quality 3rd party big selling IPs ( main RE game, DMC, MGS, Orange Box, Ace Combat, Burnout, GTA etc. ). Thats all IMO :)

Don't bother posting anything that goes against the Wii on this site. It is full of Nintendo fanboys. I have supported Nintendo since before most of these guys were born and I think that Nintendo has abandoned core gamers for good. Sorry to burst the bubble of all the Nintendo fanboys, but none of the games released on the Wii or coming to the Wii are core games. The fact is that Nintendo was on the way out of the home console market and had to resort to 100% casual in order to make money again. I think that it's ridiculous that nobody can say anything against the Wii, whether it is true or not, on this site without getting bombarded by the Nintendo fanboys...

 actually, there are many games that appeal to core gamers, and there are games coming out for them. SMG, TP, MP3, are already out, dead rising, call of duty: world at war are coming soon, and nintendo is probably just using casual games to fund core games

 SMG, TP and MP3 are no longer full core games. I know because I owned ALL 3 of them before I traded in my Wii for a PS3. Dead rising is an old game that was on 360 with better graphics and the new CoD is going to be crap because it is being made by Treyarch, plus PC is the only place to play CoD games anyway. I own all of the real CoD games on PC and would never, ever play them on a Wii. The graphics and controls just cannot compete with PC or the other 2 consoles...
