@CrazzyMan, you are also forgetting the very important holiday season when the Wii's lead should be able to jump by millions in a couple of months. So it shouldn't take nearly as long.

Actually, this is not really true at all ...

If you take a look at the line-up for the rest of the year the Wii has (roughly) 150 third party titles that are going to be released and (roughly) 50 of them are games of really decent quality; when you figure that a large portion of these titles would have been started around March 31st 2007 (when a lot of people assumed that price reductions for the HD systems and the release of big games would kill the Wii) it is actually a pretty good line-up.

Imagine what the line-up will look like next year when most of the games will have started in the wake of price reductions and huge games not giving the HD consoles much of a boost at all.

We will get hundred of threadsfrom Wii Fanboys;....Wii >>>>>> X360+PS3.

Everytime when a developper (Capcom, Ubisoft, etc) announce a new big title exclusive for PS3 and X360 Wii fanboys will react as ' OMG don't they see the Wii has more than 50% marketshare...;Sjeez those devs are so stupid don't they want to make money....Sjeez..

It will not really change that much though..

Only if they shipped enough otherwise PS3 and X360 will sell more than Wii.

I don't know about you, but I haven't really seen much growth in the number of HD games on the horizon; in fact it seems like there has been quite a steady decline in the number of games on the lists of highly anticipated HD games that have been announced.

At the same time, there has been a fairly steady increase in the number of announced Wii games since it launched. When you factor in that most PSP and PS2 development is being killed off, the Wii’s massive popularity, and the fact that these developers are best suited to develop Wii (rather than HD) games I think it is fair to assume that the steady increase in Wii announcements will continue for quite a while.

When it happens someone will remind us that the Wii is in a different market. HD fanboys will also do damage control and spread FUD all over the boards. Then someone will say that the Wii 3rd party hardcore attach rate is the lowest compared to the PS3+360+PC.
