How is Zelda PH at the top of the highest ranked games and it's not even out anywhere but Japan does that many people have the game already? lol (50 votes so far)

Or ranking it without even having the game but thinking it will be such a fabulous game... or suck for that matter :D I never give my opinion via a ranking system, before I have the game actually in hand and played it of course ;)

That list is an absolute joke. I've voted some non-nintendo games up there (extremely good ones, which got better reviews then any of those games) only to see a person/persons come along and immediately give it a 0. There are people here who really want that list to be comprised entirely of nintendo games, which is sort of sad, but true.
Also there is a timer on the vote. So you can vote for the same thing once a day, everyday. For instance out of the 300 votes I can see for Zelda: the Orcarina of time, how many of them are just repeat votes?
The games list should be removed, it's become a tool for fanboys, and it gives a very unbalanced view of reality to any guests who browse the sight unfamilair with it's workings.

While i think Ocarina of Time deserves its place at the top your right, it is very bias.

I don't know about removed, but redone...
Limit it to one vote per game, and list what everyone voted for. Ideally we should be able to do anonymous votings, but we need some way to have better quality control. Maybe if people know that their votes will be listed, they will be a little better bahaved.

No, it should not be anonymous. The site is free, so people might as well register if they feel like voting.
Votes should be submitted once per person, but with an option where individual voters can change their votes over time as their tastes and preferences change. Each user profile should have a history of how the user voted, so we can see individuals' "Top 10" lists, or "Top 50", or whatever.
Check out the site boardgamegeek.com. That site has set the bar for how these systems should be done, IMHO.
I understand their are die-hard fans here but for a game that isn't even out to be at the top that screams fanboy!
Maybe there are some japansese people here, or maybe even people whoread japanese whoactually played the game

It IS out, kid. There are a lot of people here who import games and play them in Japanese.
