I'm absolutely in love with the Suikoden series and everything about those games. Skies of Arcadia and Chrono Trigger go down as my favorite RPGs of all time. Finally, I tend to like a more active battling systems such as FFXII. I'm not a huge fan of random battles, but I can deal with it. So can anyone think of something that I would like? The game can be on any current system.
Edit: Also, I hate games that rely heavily on level grinding. I know, how can you be an RPG fan and hate the grind. I just think some games do it better than others. Chrono Cross didn't even have levels and Suikoden allowed other characters to catch up to your main character's level really quickly.

Prediction Aug '08: We see the PSP2 released fall '09. Graphically, it's basically the same as the current system. UMD drive ditched and replaced by 4-8gb on board flash memory. Other upgrades: 2nd analog nub, touchscreen, blutooth, motion sensor. Design: Flip-style or slider. Size: Think Iphone. Cost: $199. Will be profitable on day 1.
