I remember a thread not so very long ago when quite a few posters said that the Wii would never reach 50% market share. Now seeing the percentage creeping up at about a tenth percent a week, are there still any doubters?

Instead of seeking to convince others, we can be open to changing our own minds, and seek out information that contradicts our own steadfast point of view. Maybe it’ll turn out that those who disagree with you actually have a solid grasp of the facts. There’s a slight possibility that, after all, you’re the one who’s wrong.
I think I was one of those non believers. However I'm starting to retract my statements mainly due to the inability of the PS3 to advance and the 360 staying stagnant as well.
This week it went up .2%!
I predict it will hit 50% by the end of January!
Well at current rates Wii is set to finish the year at about 43 million sold. While 360 is set to tend the year at 25 milllion sold and PS3 20 million sold. So then it would be a difference of 2 million. And you usually don't gain momentum from the holiday season by not selling at least close to what a competitor sold. Not to mention Nintendo will be running into a pretty big 09 right off the back when Wii Sports Resort releases that Spring. I mean many were saying 09 wouldn't be Wii's year, but it's really holidays 08 that isn't "supposed" to be Wii's year but will due to a lot of 3rd party games releasing and still massive hype. While it seems Nintendo has saved a lot of big guns for 09.
This is possibly why 09 will still be Wii's year and not the competition despite the comp's big guns as well.
it might reach it but will it stay there? i think with further HD price drops it could change and it prolly will.
You should have ended the title with a question mark. Otherwise, it looks like an opinion from you.
Anyways, pointless gloating and smug attitudes don't constitute a thread in my eyes.
