Must be a bad bulb. I replaced all my incandescent bulbs with flourescent bulbs a few years ago. Now they are all burning out at the same time. 2-3 years from a bulb is pretty good, if you ask me.

why dont you try out an LED bulb? they last longer then CFLs and use less electricity. They tend to be a bit more pricey but their cost is paid for within a few months to a year.


$30-40 for a bulb isnt really something i am interested in paying
