Nach enttäuschender E3: Sony plant Neuvorstellungen auf GC
In der vergangenen Woche hat in Los Angeles die Computerspielmesse E3 stattgefunden. Bekanntermaßen hat Sony dabei außer dem MMO-Actionspiel "MAG", welches im kommenden Frühjahr erscheinen soll, keine nennenswerten Neuheiten präsentiert.

Wie David Reeves, Chef von Sony Computer Entertainment Europe nun bekannt gab, will das Unternehmen die schwache E3 jedoch durch Neuvorstellungen auf der Games Convention ausgleichen. Insgesamt wird Sony demnach etwa 12 Neuankündigungen vornehmen. Die Games Convention findet in diesem Jahr vom 21. bis 24. August statt.

In last weeks E3 Sony hasnt announce anything big apart from MAG which is to be released in Spring 2009.

David Reeves(SCEE) stated that they wanted to make up for the weak E3.

Sony will be announcing 12 new titles to their Consoles. GC is from 21. to 24 August.

So what do you guys think ? Will they make a big announcement like MS did with FXIII or just some generic titles for PSP, PS2,PS3.

I don't think they said they were announcing 12 games at Leipzig but they said they had 12 announcements. I wouldn't expect more than 2-3 new games.

Altogether Sony will make roughly 12 new announcements..

NOT 12 new games?? It could be 6 games and 6 other things..

WipeOut! (i love this game). Expansion pack to Warhawk. Trophies for MGS4. WarDevil:Enigma details. New ICO. Twisted Metal PS3. Home release date.

They are possible PS3 announcements.

PSP announcements and PS2 announcements i leave to others because i don't have a PSP and even though i do have a PS2 i don't think they will announce anything new for it.

Hopefully they will release a new SKU with BC. In others they are probably making a profit because of the strong euro, so it makes sense. And if there is a "core", shouldn't there be a "pro"?

That's good to know that everything Sony announced at E3 wasn't everything. If it's more first party titles, firmware updates, new re modeled cheaper PS3, or a combination, good
